Spring 2006

     √ Demolished 141 and 143 York Road to prepare for Memorial Park Drive
     √ Adopted an Eminent Domain Policy R-2006-19 to codify Township's intentions
     √ Approve the purchase of new ornamental bases and tops on traffic signals throughout
     redevelopment area

Summer 2006
     √ Coordinate with local sewer authority on potential EDU's related to redevelopment
     √ Receive $300,000 grant from Montgomery County Revitalization Board for construction
     of new park drive
     √ Willow Grove eligible for $5 million in funding under PA House Bill 2317
     √ Adoption of new Town Center Zoning Ordinance (with Arch Design Guidelines) #1529

Fall 2006
     √ Commissioners and planners visit Rockville Maryland town center project

Winter 2006-2007
     √ Presentations by Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority and Economic Consultants
     regarding the importance of Fiscal Impact Studies in decision making.
     √ Complete Vehicular and Pedestrian Feasibility Study for Downtown Willow Grove
     √ Public participation in design selection of new plaza connected to gateway into Memorial Park
     √ Adopt final design and construction plans for Memorial Park Drive

Spring 2007
     √ Approve proposal for Econsult, economic consultant, to assist township in negotiations with
     a developer
     √ Township professional consultants meet with potential developer

Summer 2007
     √ Approve Condemnation Ordinance for 135 and 139 York Road to make way for
     Memorial Park Drive
     √ Received grant for $153,200 from Montgomery County Revitalization Board for York Road
     streetscape improvements.
     √ Approve design engineering services related to deteriorating support in culvert
     √ 3rd meeting with potential developer to discuss site area accompanied by revised pro-forma
     √ Congresswoman Schwartz submits request for $125,000 in one of the appropriation bills.
     Awaiting Senate.

Fall 2007
     √ Launch of Downtown Willow Grove Website
     √ Presentation and discussion with parcel/business owners regarding potential financial
     incentives for revitalization
     √ Developer presents proposal for redeveloping town center to the township Board of
     Commissioners and its professional consultants that requires eminent domain/condemnation

Winter 2007-2008
       Coordination of final demolition and construction for a new road, new intersection and new
     plaza for downtown Willow Grove to be complete by mid 2008
       Application to Montgomery County Revitalization Board
       Application to State for funding
